TYPOGRAPHY

This project involved experimenting with mono and block relief printing at home rather than letterpress printing due to only online classes being offered at the time. The process without professional equipment involved mark making with homemade stencils and acrylic paints. These postcard designs are based on the UNSW Grand Challenge of Climate Change, and are inspired by poems about this topic. These poems include “Extinction” by Jackie Kay, "Cantre'r Gwaelod" by Gillian Clarke, “Silent Sea” by Rachael Boast and "A Language of Change" by David Sergeant.
